Shahid Kapoor on the high sky after the biggest success of his career with Kabir Khan. The film made a great Rs.250 Cr collection on the box office. Now, once again Shahid Kapoor preparing himself for his next film named Jersey.
It is a remake of South Indian film. In the orginal film, south actor Nani plays as a lead actor. The remake version also will be produced by Dil Raju, who earlier produced the original south one.
As per recent buzzes, Shahid Kapoor met with the makers of Jersey and they were insisted Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady as she fit for the female role.
Actually, the makers want a fresh face for the film if Rashmika gives her nod, it will be her Bollywood debut. Rashmika also expressed an interest in the Hindi remake but the modalities and fee has to be finalized. The makers preparing themselves begin the shoot by November this year.
If all goes well then with the remake version of Jersey, Rashmika will make her Bollywood debut opposite Bollywood chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor. Earlier, the actress was offered a film with talented actor Randeep Hooda but unfortunately, things not go well. So, we hope for the best and this time the actress gives the nod to makers.
